Celebrity responses to the California fires, vary. Some are feeling the pain, others are helping out, while some are already trying to heal.

Special Coverage of the California Fires -

Social media is buzzing with talk of celebrities and the California fires. Responses vary widely, from opinions that celebrities will be fine since they have multiple homes, or how they are so rich they should be helping more to support other who have "really" lost everything. Still we can also find an outpouring of compassion for all affected, celebrity or not.

Today we’ll acknowledge both those who are writhing in the pain of this disaster and those who are ready to rely on gratitude for what still remains beyond the ashes. We’ll highlight those who have contributed financially, like Beyoncé, and those who have gotten their feet on the ground to help, like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. There is much ground to cover, tons of opinions, drama, and judgements, but most importantly much to learn. Let’s dive in.

Hidden Lessons from California Fires:

How Some Celebrities Are Lighting the Way for Us...

  • Gratitude Amid Devastation:  Celebs like Joshua Jackson and Paris Hilton were able to tap into gratitude as their coping tool right away. Joshua expressing his gratitude that his family was safe after losing his childhood home and Paris sharing her thankfulness for the safety of loved ones despite the loss of her property as well. It doesn't mean they aren't hurting, but they are grabbing on to gratitude as a life-preserver in these seemingly impossible times.

Lesson: Gratitude works! It's the ultimate perspective shifter - and peace giver. Their efforts remind us of the power of gratitude, even in unimaginable circumstances. Tools: Search for and express any gratitude you can find mentally, verbally or in writing. This can help us to find light in the darkness. Write at least three things you are grateful for each day (and each time negative thoughts loom over you) - and visualize many more grateful moments to come in the future.

  • Releasing Negativity for Healing: Billy Crystal and Mandy Moore expressed their devastation over losing homes filled with memories. They remind us that it’s vital to express our pain while leaving room for future healing.

Lesson: Expressing pain isn't a bad thing.  It can be a major part of the healing process.  We simply need to be careful not to get stuck in the pain process - accidentally writing it indefinitely into our future, in debilitating ways.

Tools: While expressing your honest emotions is essential, be mindful with the words you choose to avoid programming never-ending pain in your future. You are built to heal! Phrases like “I’ll never recover” or “Life will never be as good as it was” can create mental roadblocks in the years ahead. Instead, focus on truthful present-tense expressions like “I feel devastated” or “This is incredibly painful right now.” When the time comes to look forward, leave room for healing by speaking words like, “I will move through this, somehow” or “Healing is possible for me.” These shifts in language can subtly guide your mind toward greater resilience and true healing when you're ready.

  • Do Something - Don't Give in to Helplessness: Beyoncé’s $2.5 million donation to fire relief and Meghan and Harry’s hands-on volunteer work distributing supplies show that even against a raging fire that we cannot control, we still have power to help. Don't be intimidated by grand gestures. Do what you can! Even if you can't go to California or donate millions or even hundreds of dollars, you can find what's within your own power to give. Even this special blog post, for example, is dedicated to those who need emotional support and coaching tips right now. It is my way to give.

Lesson: When you feel powerless, find a way to take action on your own terms—whether it’s your time, resources, or a kind word. The key is to act within your power and not give in to powerlessness.

Tools: Ask yourself better questions. Not, "Why is this happening?" "Why did that person lose this or do that?" Instead ask yourself, "What am I able to do to help, even if it’s something small?"

Celebrity responses to the California fires, vary. Some are feeling the pain, others are helping out, while some are already trying to heal.

The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Golden Globe Celebs.

Prayer Treatment:

"May those affected by the fires find comfort and renewal in their time of need. May their pain be soothed and their hearts lifted as they navigate loss and rebuilding. For those who have acted with compassion, may they inspire others to extend kindness as well. And may all find a path to gratitude and peace, in their own time, in their own way. Out of the ashes we ALWAYS rise."

Coaching Treatment:

To all affected:

  • This type of pain doesn’t just live in the mind—it gets trapped in the body, where it can create long-term stress and anxiety. Each time you journal, cry, scream, or speak about the tragedy, imagine the pain physically leaving your body—through your pen, your breath, your scream, or your tears. Picture your brain and heart letting go of the emotional weight, releasing it from the body and making space for future healing.

And if you journal to release the pain - remember to use the release and refill process. First you express the pain, but then you deliberately fill the gap left from releasing that pain.  Fill it with truths & blessings that still remain, even in tragedy. This isn’t forced optimism; it’s about separating the pain from what’s still good. Try this journal to help.

These small but intentional acts help prevent emotions from settling in the body as permanent negative subconscious programming. Give yourself the gift of releasing the pain to leave space for a full emotional and physical recovery.

IMPORTANT NOTE

I’m not here to judge and condemn, nor praise and celebrate every decision someone makes (celebrity or not). I’m simply here to offer a perspective of compassion for our fellow man. This seems long overdue particularly for those who serve us on screen, on stage, in the arena or in any spotlight. The blog is made up of a combination of facts, opinions, speculation, assumptions, tools, resources, data and more. I do not claim to have contact with the celebrities discussed nor do I claim to have researched their stories in full.
